I've mentioned before that Omega are missing a trick by ignoring their military heritage/styling. I'd revive something like the Dynamic 3 (possibly with a nice slim movement from somewhere in the Swatch Group). Don't think it would look to bad with a beige dial either.

I heard a black ceramic 42mm speedy is coming next year - from an Omega Boutique in Nevada.

I was just wondering the other day when Omega was going to update its GSOTM and DSOTM...
Thats one of the last few watches in production that arent METAS certified i think.

The 321 series and the Apollo 8 and Alinghi have ZERO chronometer specifications. I wonder how long Omega will keep the Apollo 8/Alinghi around.

The 321 is expected to never be METAS certified, but good point anyways.

I did forget about the Apollo 8, basically the last in-production watch with an 1861-based movement.
And then the DSOTM/GSOTM and other two counter speedys on the 9300 movement.

Quartz aside, I think even the entire Tresor and Constellation lines have been updated to METAS already.

EDIT: still some other sub-lines in the Deville collection without METAS but I have no idea if any of those are actually still in production lol. And of course the tourbillions.

There is something big coming between now and Christmas 😗

@pdxleaf 😉
Oh no! Omega, please stop making "big" watches, and start making slimmer, smaller ones 😜😁😁😁😁😁

I agree 100% I don’t consider my 300M too large but when I put on a smaller diameter thinner case watch after wearing the seamaster for a few days, it is a nice change of pace

What can we expect for new Speedy’s this year?

Of course besides the long awaited “Speedy Tuesday 3”.

I want the civilian release of this blacked out no date seamaster. Preferably with a fully lined aluminum bezel a la NTTD.

That would be very cool! I would anyway like to see more no-date Seamaster 300m variations. Currently we only have the NTTD and Nekton.

Not expecting thinness but a 40-42mm seamaster gmt is an obvious gap in the lineup.

The OB said the Oméga staff there were going to see the 2nd batch of 2023 releases in July.
It's July now, so where are those damn releases???😁

What do you think? Is there something we can expect for the 65th Anniversary for the Speedmaster?

This is probably the best SMP Omega has released and they don't even let us get one. #FirstWorldProblems I know, but it's an epic watch in that config

I have a brother in the Military police in the UK and he sent a picture of this to me, not sure if it was made available elsewhere but they couldn’t get the required amount and have gone with a Bremont.
It was a shame as I would have been able to get one
