I have a PO 8500 42 and I am really tired of the thickness, if they don´t slim this line THIS YEAR, I will get this:
If Tudor cut the lug to lug from 50 to 48, I would seriously consider selling my PO 8500 and buy the Pelagos.

I think this begs the question…. What drives watch trends? It used to be people wanted the XL PO. Now people think 42 is too big. Tapered bracelets, colors going in and out of style, etc. What drives it? I don’t see the giant influence from celebrities that drive ridiculous things like shoes (they’re disposable, how does this happen?) Astronauts aren’t on Twitter demanding tapered bracelets on their speedmasters. Bond, guess there’s some influence there

Would love to see a three register Speedmaster with the 3861 movement in the new '57 40.5mm case/bracelet. No need for a date and if it were made of the new O-MEGASTEEL; I'd be running for my AD.
Man, that would be incredible. I have a black 2022 '57 I pick up next week. If I could replace the date window w/ a 3rd register... *chef's kiss*.

I don't think Omega is finished releasing watches this year. I think there are some more watches to be released later this year that will blow the previous releases out of the water. I've heard from the OBs I frequent that there is more...

A wearable GMT would be nice.

They absolutely need to figure out how to get a GMT movement in the new SMP case without making it 17mm thick. I'll immediately replace my 50th anniversary one and buy the new model if they do. The gargantuan PO GMT and the 43mm aqua terra worldtimer are not valid replacements. It's literally been 15 years since Omega released a wearable GMT watch.

Even the new Longines Spirit Zulu Time and the Certina DS Action GMT are under 14mm. That easily beats the PO and Good Planet GMTs. Something in the 13-14mm thickness range would be amazing.

Give me a 42MM PO with the current design but 13.5MM thick and I would buy it immediately.

This would be killer. Another change I’d like to see on the PO is for the 12 / 6 / 9 numerals to become lumed (similar to Mk 1 to Mk 2 on the Explorer 214270), or even see the numerals return to the colored style of the original generation.

I’d love to see some kind of reissue of the Omega Seamaster 1020 Automatic Day Date.
With the renaissance in 70s sharp angled design and integrated bracelet (PRX, Timex Q, 222, Zenith Defy Classic, to name buy a few), now is the time!

have you worn one yet?

while the 12.7mm case height is attractive in paper, the absolute necessity of a NATO may have it wearing like … 15mm? More? Less?

I have tried it in Dubai. Although it is rather thick it is pleasant watch and well priced.

there will certainly be a non-limited SeaSwatch in many different colors that Omega dare not produce.
people will line up and quickly calm down remembering how stupid they were when they came out of the Moonswatch.

this is the big news from Omega in 2023.

ah I forgot: they will increase their prices because it looks prestigious

I think the MoonSwatch release was extraordinary but it was let down given these are yet to be available to purchase either online or in stores. That’s a pity.

I wouldnt be surprised if they did another reissue of a CK era model. I think the CK859 was well received, and there are so many treasures from that era.

I just hope they:
- Keep the size generally same or very close to the originals (no 42mm monstrosity re-releases of 36mm watches please)
- Keep the thickness down

Sizes of re-issues or tributes should be identical to the originals.

The OB said the Oméga staff there were going to see the 2nd batch of 2023 releases in July.
