It was a balance spring. It was also hash tagged Speedmaster, but except for the 321, all current Speedmaster movements already have a silicon balance spring...odd...

The CEO, in an Esquire article, said there will be an exciting *new watch* in January.

Here
“But already, by the end of January, we will have a new state-of-the-art watch which will have a very big value for the watch industry. We’ll come with a new innovation. Because it’s part of us. We make products that make people smile.”

Well aware - I was the one that first posted that article here.

I know its a long shot for the January 26th reveal, but any chance of a new PO soon? Also, what would that do to the current PO’s market price on the secondary market? Ive had my eye on the 39.5mm for some time now. Ty

If they do release a new PO I'd imagine the current PO's would depreciate. You can pick up some of the 8500 POs's right now for $1000 less than the current generation.

A Diver 300M GMT please thank you very much Omega. Any (or all) of the below 3 variants.

Steel with white ceramic dial with full red GMT hand . Black ceramic 24hr bezel (keep your oreos, pepsi, sprite or any other food/drink themed bezels away from this watch). (i.e. a slightly panda-fied modern Great White tribute)
Steel with black ceramic dial with Red tipped GMT hand. Ti ablated 24hr bezel (i.e. a Ti Nekton with GMT and date)
Titanium with blue ceramic dial with silver "Seamaster" text. Ti hands and lollipop GMT hand. Blue ceramic 24hr bezel. (i.e. a Ti Bond 60th with GMT and date).

42mm case and, for the love of all that is holy, no thicker than the existing 14.3mm.

A GMT with ceramic bezel in omegasteel without the helium release valve. Hoover up some of those who can’t get hold of a Rolex GMT.

If they made this thinner than 13 mm I will be lining up to trade in my Rolex.

I am still calling that an updated Ploprof is coming before the end of the year...

Popped into local boutique today - they told me 2023 will bring an updated Ploprof - a return to steel instead of titanium.

I was told to expect another crazy ass expensive super watch toward the end of the year in the realm of several $100,000’s. Kind of like that chiming gold speedmaster

They said they hadn't had confirmation of what was coming yet, but the Ploprof was a definite, they believed there will be some updated DSOTM speedies, and something big Seamaster related to celebrate the anniversary but they didn't have any details.

Was 26 January 1903 the exact date when 120 years ago, " Omega " was first used in the new company name Louis Brandt et Frère - Omega Watch & Co. ?
But this surely has nothing to do with the Omega Speedmaster... 👎
So for the 175th anniversary should we rather expect another unique & really classic (expensive) Omega branded wrist watch like the large wrist chronograph they presented in 2018 ( 95 year old integrated chronograph movements were put into large new cases based on a 1913 design. ) ?

I don’t know if mentioned already but Thursday 26th January 2023 is also the NASA Apollo 1 commemoration date. Possible link?

I'd like to see the Globemaster Perpetual Calander recieve a bracelet or the standard model to gain a 42mm version.

While a nato adds in absolute thickness I don't think it adds to a thicker feel. Visually your eyes get drawn to the case and when that is slim it still looks good. Also, a thicker case is simply top heavy.
Wait the nylon nato or the cotton nato? I love the slimmer nato straps I dislike the thick cotton stiff ones, the thin nylons are legit from omega I love them.
