I sparkle this discussion with my suggestion: given the new alloy called O-MEGASTEELE, in 2023 we could see a redesigned Planet Ocean 600m with a slimmer profile, thank to this new alloy.
A re-issue of the original (cal. 2500) LMLE, as slim as the current 300m, or maybe less (!), but with modern calibers and less bold hands and numbers on the dial.

Would love to see a three register Speedmaster with the 3861 movement in the new '57 40.5mm case/bracelet. No need for a date and if it were made of the new O-MEGASTEEL; I'd be running for my AD.

LOL

Out of the new releases:

Hulk > Green SMP
Moonshine Green Speedy > Any Daytona
OP line > AT line (but the white dial 38mm in beautiful)

Wish Omega did not do this with the AT line and I like the Green SMP but we can do without...

Hope the Omega's that are released this fall are much more unique. Still love Omega tho.

30th anniversary of the 2531.80. This is an important watch for Omega. Let’s see what they are thinking. I can’t see this being ignored.

I would love (beg) to see a 42mm speedmaster with central minute hand, tachymeter bezel, 24hr subdial (settable as to also be a GMT), 100m+ water resistance, column wheel, coaxial, sapphire sandwich, automatic, day date, all on the new speed master bracelet. This would 1000% be the ultimate watch. Basically rework the 3603 a bit and you have the most impressive watch out there.

have you worn one yet?

while the 12.7mm case height is attractive in paper, the absolute necessity of a NATO may have it wearing like … 15mm? More? Less?

While a nato adds in absolute thickness I don't think it adds to a thicker feel. Visually your eyes get drawn to the case and when that is slim it still looks good. Also, a thicker case is simply top heavy.

no disagreement here. and in titanium, certainly not top heavy feeling.

didn’t know if @foxtrot was instead just tired of catching door jams from across the room - which, nato/titanium or not…

there will certainly be a non-limited SeaSwatch in many different colors that Omega dare not produce.
people will line up and quickly calm down remembering how stupid they were when they came out of the Moonswatch.

this is the big news from Omega in 2023.

ah I forgot: they will increase their prices because it looks prestigious

I'm a sailor, and race dinghies, cats and keelboats.

I wear a variety of watches out on the water, including Sinns, Pelagos, an AT, and a 15.4 mm MM300, and haven't really experienced this.

Maybe it's the contours of the PO bezel?

you are correct, maybe the problem is when working in the pit with halyards and stoppers, etc...not a problem when steering, last regatta I use the AT, no issues. The PO with NATO is almost 17mm high and always out of the sleeve...and is a heavy watch with high inertia, wants to keep ´his condition´, keep its movement...or its rest.
