Hi all, I am new to watch addiction but it is real!
Starting this summer I bought some lovely Seiko divers (SZSC004 Sumo, SRP779 Turtle) and a couple of vintage Hi-Beats (Lord Marvel, King Seiko 45). All quite affordable and enjoyable to wear.
So it’s a big deal for me to acquire this beautiful brand new “James Bond” Seamaster.
It’s on the way so I’ve attached a stock photo, though I’m sure you all are familiar with it.
I’m having some classic buyer’s anxiety and would love to hear you guys tell me what a great choice I’ve made!

I think its one of the most beautiful modern Diver from Omega. I had the same one in black, but sold it in order to fund another project. Now every time i see a photo i get a bit sad!
Which movement is inside? Is it the latest 2500d?

Where did you find it brand new? 2220.80 is out of the production since 6 years or something like that.

Yes the modem seamaster is a very nice watch
I have had mine for over eight years wear it a lot
Still love it
They are quite a substantial piece get it properly adjusted
And you will not even know you are wearing it

Caliber 2500. I hope this is not one of those too good to be true deals. Newegg has it listed new for $1740.95. Seemed just too good to pass up. I guess I will find out when I receive it.

 

Wow that is cheap for a genuine new piece. New for that prices does sound a little TGTBT TBH. Even used they are higher. That listing on newegg has no reviews for the seller. Hope you paid by CC. Good luck.

Newegg auto-cancelled my order because the vendor “Prime Deals” had not confirmed shipment within the required 72 hours. The contact phone number was disconnected.
So back to shopping around for a nice used 2220.80...
Now that I got this close I can’t let it go!
