    Hello all,

I am a new member though have lurked for a long time picking up info through reading various posts; thank you.

I must say that I am new to Omega only having had a Chronostop and, briefly, a Speedy Pro, in the past. I was walking past a high street jeweller however around 3 weeks ago and saw this. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and so I popped in and did a deal last Friday. I am very pleased. The watch keeps excellent time and so I am not rushing have a service though the hour counter creeps on when the chrono isn’t activated: I’ve read about this on the forum so am not too concerned about it. I just let it run on and don’t feel the need to reset the chrono every 5 mins; which I understand can lead to wear. I would love a bracelet so if you have one let me know!

    Anyway, here it is.

    Very nice looking Chrono.
I am a newbie too and just got seduced by a similar piece in gold plate. Everybody warns plate is a no no , but there is minimal wear and the dial appears clean and original at least to my eyes. It will make a brilliant dress watch and I am very pleased with the acquisition.
