Hi OF. Long time lurker, first time poster, thought it was about time. I wouldn’t call myself a collector (and I’ve not gotten into vintage... not yet anyway), but I acquired my first Omega in December, one of the last FOIS Speedmasters. I own more Seiko than anything else but generally have an interest in anything with really strong design and great typography/lettering in particular. Looking forward to joining a few discussions here. Cheers!
Not from London but I have a few friends in the UK in the boxing world, more fans but a couple guys involved in the sport, I love the passion England has for boxing, welcome I’d love to see some of your seikos.
welcome!! Great piece!! it is a pity that being from London the watch is always running an hour behind continental Europe. PS: I know, I know.....yours is the "real" time.
Welcome mate we actually do have a Seiko sub forum if you scroll down to other brands on the homepage so maybe post some of your pieces there too
Welcome ... London is one of my favorite cities. Great vintage collector community as well. Greetings from Chicagoland!
Welcome! Nice watch to start your Omega collection. You mentioned you have a few Seikos. Seikos and especially the Grand Seikos are awesome quality watches.
Welcome to the Forum. London is an amazing city and a haven for watch collectors. Big fan of vintage Seiko Divers....
Actually since Brexit our watches are running approximately 50 years behind continental Europe. Nice to meet you @FlatTop, I’m in north London. I’m also looking forward to seeing some of your Seikos.
Thanks for the welcome all, sounds like there are plenty of Seiko enthusiasts here - I’ll head on over to the Seiko sub forum then! That’s probably the cleanest 62MAS I’ve seen - great piece. I love the design - I own the SLA017 which I’m a big fan of (no Grand Seiko... yet).
Welcome to the forum & the SLA017 is a superb watch ( little biased as I have one ) & as others have already commented head over to the Seiko forum. And I’m from more up North myself but now based in the Midlands .
