·Hello, I am a new member here. I have been on WUS for years with hundreds of posts and well over a hundred transactions. I have had a number of Omegas over the years, from a Seamaster 300 to a FIOS I “modded” to more closely resemble the Ed White, and a Speedmaster hesalite from 2016. My biggest Omega purchase occurred a few days ago. I bought a Seamaster 120m 176.004 big blue from a seller in the Netherlands. It was overhauled by Omega years ago and will also come with original dial, hands, etc. The seller is having an Omega certified watchmaker clean and oil the movement prior to shipping. I was not aware of this model until recently. I wish I knew about it years ago. It would have saved me thousands! Excellent seller I’m sure many here are aware of. Happy to share on PM if interested.
I have always been more of a dive watch or chronograph person with a preference for Lemania 5100 movements, as well as Grand Seiko and some vintage pieces with the Valjoux 72. I would like to get a Speedmaster again. I love that watch and the Lemania movement. Miss it dearly.
I look forward to spending more time here as I think the OF is more reflective of my interests and from what I have heard is more informative, open, and fun. Thank you.
