·After having enjoyed this forum relatively passively for about a year, I thought it’s time to get more active and what better way to do so than with a little introduction?
My watch-journey started with a few modern pieces but I’ve always had a weak spot for vintage watches. There is something about the beauty of a watch that has lived a life, probably was enjoyed on a daily basis and that has a story to tell.
What held me back from actually buying a vintage piece was the overwhelming feeling of understanding what I was looking at and the fear of getting fooled.
When I at one point got an injury that stopped me from running and suddenly had a lot of “new time” at hand, I started reading on forums and got in touch with fantastic members that have been very helpful.
I truly value forums like OF and hope to one day have enough knowledge to give back to the community.
On my wrist I usually carry either my 105.012-66 CB or my 3570.50. I’m also a big fan of IWC from the 90s and TUDOR subs.
Looking forward to learn more from you guys!
