Hello everybody, It's my first post on the forum. I'm a watch fan living in France, collecting 2 categories of watches : - Rolex Professional with 5 digits (Dayto 16520, Submariner 14060M - 16610 LN - 16610 LV, GMT 16710) - Omega Speedmaster's . I love everything in Speedmaster : the design, the diversity of dials, the reliability, the mix between sport & class style. My 4 speedies are : - Alaska project - Japan racing, ref 3570.40 - cream dial limited to italian market ref 3593, distributed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Speedmaster - the sapphir sandwich version, ref 3573 I hope to share and learn more about Speedmasters with you. Regards, Stephane - zizou73
Thank you for your messages. Before looking after Seamasters, a lot of Speedies are missing in my watchbox : Dark side of the moon, Mitsukoshi...;-(
welcome! great collection , love the 3570.40. Agree on the mitsukoshi, i would skip the dsotm for a gemini 4 though. Also feel free to share your rolex watches, we love pics
Superb collection of Speedies! Agreed, Mitsukoshi or panda dial like Gemini 4/Apollo 11 35th would be awesome!
Greetings Stephane, Nice collection. I love the Italian cream colored dial. You have come to the right place for Speedmaster collectors. Where in France do you live?
Thanks all for your welcome messages. The italian cream colored is quite special with a kind of old style (like a yellowed paper colour) that I love. My preference comes to this one and the Japan racing. I live in Lyon (the 3rd major french city after Paris and Marseille), but intend to move soon in Annecy (in french Alps, 40 kms to Geneva).
Hi... love the collection! They are a nice bunch here and made me feel welcome.. Ive been here for a couple of weeks or so and love it
Et l'olympique lyonnais! Also from Lyon and also have an Alaska project. Wear those Speedys in good health Anxious to see how OL will fare in CL this year
