Hello all, New member here on the forums, long time watch enthusiast (particularly Omegas). Started off with a Bond Seamaster (2531.80), which still gets a lot of wear. Looking to add a Speedy to my collection next. Look forward to contributing here. Rob
Welcome to the forum, happy to have another Canadian on-board. Post some pictures of your watches and join in on the fun.
Likewise! Tell us what your interests are. That is, in addition to Omega. Personally, I am omnivorous re: watches. I think I have more Accutrons than I have Omegas. I might have a dozen Accutrons. Followed by Omega, then Rolex. But I really am more of a pocket watch guy. Mostly American. But I have two Brandt CCR pocket watches. These are early Omegas.
Welcome to the house of fun....the wealth of knowledge available here is incredible and you get to see some of the best vintage watches enjoy....
Hello from SW Ontario - welcome to the forum, Rob! My collection started with the same Omega Bond watch .... several years ago and many watches since.
Greetings from Vancouver! You’re unlikely to find a more passionate group than these OF folks: they’re knowledgeable, always helpful, trustworthy and, best of all, patient. Welcome!
I have to say, you're a welcoming bunch here! Im pleased to say I now have a Speedy Pro on the way, really looking forward to receiving it. My current collection also includes an Oris TT3, an Accutron Gemini chrono (Valjoux 7750), and a big honkin Welder K23 chrono (tan dial). I'd like to add either a Hamilton or Longines moonphase to my collection eventually. In addition to watches, I'm a huge car and boat nut. I'm currently into air cooled Porsches, specifically a 993 C2 that keeps me busy. Recently took on an engine/transmission out service and completed a bunch of upgrades. I also play with a 22ft Donzi running a slightly hopped up big block chevy, good for 70mph.
Greetings from Texas. Glad you're here! Wish you would take back all this Canadian cold currently stuck down here though.
A Torontonian sends you greetings... Started with the Bond route as well. First a vintage Sub 5513 (LALD) and then onto the 2531.80 (brother wears it now). Welcome and, I’m new too.
Hello all, Another newbie here, and also from Toronto. Relatively new to the wonderful world of watches, but once the bug bit, well you know! I got into Omega's with a Seamaster PO and have been obsessing about a hesalite Speedy Pro of late. Looking forward to contributing and tapping into the wealth of knowledge I see before me.
Welcome from Winnipeg! Best forum to ask questions and gather information. The guys and gals here are great!
