Greetings all, I go by ExpiredWatchdog on the boards. I'm a late career Software Engineer for a Major Aerospace Manufacturer here on the left coast (USA). I've been participating over on WUS for most of a year but lurking for several before that.

I started collecting maybe five or six years ago with a pedestrian TAG but have expanded out as my exposure has expanded. In Omega, I have a Speedmaster '57:

...and an SMPO Chrono in Titanium:

...both with the 9300 movement.

I enjoy sarcasm, wit and just plain old banter about many things including watches. I'm also "One of the kids in the cheap seats", an amature watchmaker who knows just enough and has just enough tools to be dangerous. I hope to have as much fun here as I've had over on WUS and maybe learn a thing or two along the way.

Kudos to Archer, who's put up with me on WUS and has posted many things on this board that (along with plenty of google foo) lead me to the board.

Greetings to you all and good day.

Great to have Left Coasters

1st post usually requires you to ask how you sell a watch on the OF, there is sarcasm

Nice pics. Welcome aboard. I am from the left coast of Britain the first 25 years of my life on this globe, and have lived on the right coast of the USA the last 26 years. So, I鈥檓 ambidextrous.

Thanks all, my location is the silicone valley. I saw the semiconductor revolution in action growing up. As a kid in junior high, one of my classmates had an LED watch that either said the time or "Lets F**k" depending on the button. Quite a tool. But then, I also attended a meeting of the "Homebrew Computer Club" and probably mixed impressions with the movers and shakers of the generation, but had no clue at the time. They were just a bunch of bearded weirdos to me.

Ok to The Father, third post, you wanna buy a fu*kin watch?

See what I mean?

I thought both the coasts were left. I thought the middle bit was right. Then again I鈥檓 from the other side of the pond where we don鈥檛 know what we are except against each other.

California. Some here lean to the left a bit. In fact we're famous for it.

Then show us the pedestrian Tag

A little more gratuitous Omega Pr0n:

Mr. Chunky

At Depth

Between dives

Yup, I even ran the Chrono at depth because.... you can.
