So I found this on instagram and I'm pretty impressed with the looks of their watches. This is their website:

http://www.meccanicheveneziane.it/

They have some nice looking stuff and all watches come with handmade Italian leather straps and in a really nice looking aged wooden box. It's a miota movement but ive found a Canadian distributor that is selling them for $400 US. Anyone have any thoughts?

Just fashionable watches that, in my opinion, are not worth the asking price; they try to take advantage of the name of Venice

+1 on the fashion watch statement.

If you are looking for an Italian microbrand check out Unimatic. Very cool designs and awesome watches IMHO. Think Halios but from Italy.

I would go Seiko or Orient instead. Nothing extraordinary design wise Italian can offer here, I think. Plus, Japanese movement looks much better in the Japanese watch.
