Hi all, I have been hanging around the forum for a little while gaining from the immense experience of other members but now wanted to say hi to everyone. I have had a big interest in watches all my life but, with 3 kids and a wife to support, have rarely been able to justify the expenditure required to pursue it as a hobby. Now the kids have all finished various Unis and left home for their own lives I feel I have a bit more time and more importantly a little more expendable income to be able to have more fun. I bought my first serious watches as a younger man (Tag aquagraph CN211A and Bell & Ross BR126) which I still have and have more recently acquired a two tone pie-pan Connie (168.004) albeit with a refinished dial. Today I had delivered a Vulcain Cricket and a Longines 7844 (Cal 345 date) which I purchased from another OF member Mr.Cairo . What a gent he was and I will definitely be leaving appropriate feedback. I am thrilled with the watches and please see photos below used with permission of seller. I have more interest in vintage pieces at present and unfortunately, although this will not make me popular with some, I have no great affinity for the Speedy in its various forms but maybe it will grow on me eventually. Anyway enough about me. Hopefully you like the photos below and I look forward to taking a more active part of the forum in future All the best Gavin

Thanks Uncle Buck. Manners cost nothing so my Grandmother used to tell me. Although as an ex rugby playing prop forward I can have my moments
Well in that case, we’d better make sure that we’re polite to you too! Welcome Gavin All the best Nathan
