Very nice, and welcome. I have a modded 3575.20 (blue baton hands, Gemini IV bezel, sapphire back). The moon/date Speedmasters with the Cal 1866 movement are way under appreciated. You basically get the features of the better finished 1863 movement with the cool, and useful, addition of a date and moonphase dial, all packaged in a regular 42 mm case size. And in the case of the 3575.20 you get that beautiful, soft creme/beige/ecru/off-white dial (like the Italian Albino), one of the most attractive light dialled Speedmaster dials, imo.

Your watch is stunning. How difficult was it to source the bezel (new?)? I’m also interested in doing the display caseback so I’ll have to do my homework on that as well. I’ve searched around a bit but being new to all this (and since this reference isn’t as common) I’m a bit nervous about getting something that is either incompatible or just garbage. Would you mind sharing how/where you got your display caseback?

That’s too much for a first piece. I’ll trade you for something more appropriate. 😉

In all seriousness that’s a great piece enjoy it!
