    New to forum, lots of great info here and a boatload of beautiful watches! I acquired this 300 some 14 years ago and have always wondered about if the hands were original or replaced. It doesn't bother me enough to change them and would never sell it, but curious. Here's a pic of it and one with my every day beater that takes a lot of abuse!

    Hands are not correct. Do you have pictures of the case back?

    Not yet...need to dig out my case wrench haven't touched it in 10 years or so.

    Sorry about the crappy phone picts...here's a few, band has 1039 on it, movement-563 33093615? and case back-165024 with the date of 11/11/71 etched by hand.

    Looks like besides the hands, the dial is either not a genuine Omega item or has been refinished. Also it seems only the clasp was made by Omega, the rest of the bracelet was not.

    Well that's a lot of effort for very little profit, as I didn't pay that much for it in the late 90's

    It's strange that there is no white box around the date window... Was it scraped off somehow?
