The ladies dynamic strap is particularly delicate and would be difficult to make, even for a professional. Chunky is not what you need for this model. There are some £15 copies out there but the genuine article is a thing of beauty.

Until last week a UK company called Cousins advertised men and women's straps including an XL size Mike, but they turned out only to have men's and have since changed their add.

It's a strange market that Omega / Swatch guard carefully. I guess they turn up in drawers now and again.

Those metal O rings look like a good option but I've never seen a ladies version, as before you'd need serious skills to make a ladies size.

We feel for you Mike , with two ladies waiting yours is a different dynamic
I would be happy to buy from Omega, but I haven't seen anywhere to do that. Do you you know how to get such things from them?

That's Counsins UK.

But be careful

I would call them personally for you because I had a disaster with them myself and wouldn't want things to go wrong long distance. (They kept sending me the men's band, the ladies never arrived or existed)

Wow! Thanks! This seems promising! So, you say the vendor is called "Cousins"? Would you have a web address too?

It would be good to know your findings? I am on the hunt for a nice Dynamic and would be useful for future reference.
Thanks
I found a vendor on Chrono24 that has a nice selection of NOS Omega Dynamic ladies' straps. His seller name is Renato Cappannari. Reasonably priced.

Just to tidy up the thread, Steve ? Wouldn't take on a small strap like this. ABP have made men's OD straps, would only try a ladies with watch present, cost might be close to 400 EUR. Seems the earlier mentioned sources are the way forward.

So, I've found a guy in Tokyo willing to take on my project, but he's looking for more measurements that I will have a hard time providing. You wouldn't have your lady's Dynamic handy, would you? If so, could you help me out with what he's requesting?

I think he will want to know how thick to make it, the answer being 'not very'

I've made some 2 mm thick JLC straps, but straight cut. I have no template for a model like this or punches for the center hole

Did do a check and strap at the hole is 2 mm thick

Inside diameter is 20 mm and outside is 25 mm (based on an Ebay sellers description).

Best to measure on the watch. Around the raised ring and inside of the outer shoulders.

Ebay seller with 209 mm overall ladies models. I would think that would be a long

This is helpful, Tallville! I'm Mike, by the way! He was interested to know how wide the leather is that forms the oval. I've read that the leather is 2mm thick. Do you think you could give it a measure from the band you have? I am scheming of a way to get him a junker version of this watch so he has something to go off of. I will follow that lead below if Jones in Tokyo says he can't do it.

Hi Don! Thanks for the lead and the helpful info. I stumbled on this place myself the other day and it will be my fall back if I can't get my sisters the custom product they want. It's very kind of you to share all this and I appreciate it very much!

Send him my pic!
Oh yes! Did that first thing this morning...13 hours ago! He's been quiet since. Hope that means he's still thinking about this!

Try ABP in Paris.
They live for custom straps in the top tier of strap makers. Not cheap but they represent value.
Hi there! To follow up, ABP was lovely in responding, but they need to have the lady's Dynamic in hand in order to do the job. They have done and can do men's straps, however. The cost for their work is more than the value of the watches ($500-ish), so I keep looking!

So far, Doug Jones has shown some interest but no firm promise to do the job. Are you looking for a lady's strap as well?

My journey ends! I spent yesterday in Bangkok trying to lay hands on a cheap, standard sized lady's Dynamic watch strap to send to Doug Jones for a model. Much to my surprise, I found a leather guy here who has the Omega pattern/block to stamp out new XL straps in whatever leather you'd like! So, I ordered the two I need in nubuck and it cost me about US$100. I think the buckles will be disappointing, but at least my sisters will be able to wear them now. The leather guy is Mr. Wichai of Wichai Watches & Kit. There is a reference on him in OF and he's a very nice man. I'm in Bangkok about once per month, so please let me know if I can help you make the connection.

Kudos to Doug Jones for being willing to try this! I did find a cheap-o knock-off that I will send him anyway. It's no wonder women don't collect when resurrecting a beautiful old watch is such a hassle! It would be great if Doug could still add this strap to his line up!

Otherwise, I think I'm done, done with lady Dynamics!
