New CK2998 Why not "Professional"

    Speedmaster, manual wind 1861.... why not "professional" on the dial?

    Because it is homage to the CK 2998, which was pre-professional... The FOIS, and Sedna FOIS are also lacking "Professional" on the dial, so this is not precedence setting.

    Yes.

    Remember straight lugs never had professional. And this does have straight lugs, and a dial that while interesting might be hard to live with.

    Time will tell.
