Hi there,

Just sharing with you my happiness for a piece which came across, which I was not chasing at all and didnt knew actually (I am newby in vintage world, especially omega). Fell in love!!! I was told it is 1971, but if any expert want to show any light, more than appreciated!!! Enjoy the weekend!!!

Nice catch! You'll need to find the serial number on the movement to determine the date.

Interesting. I haven't seen that case shape with the flat facets before. Also seems to have a domed crystal.

Any chance of more pics. From each side and of the caseback.

Opening it to get the numbers is problematic and will require a specialist watchmaker.

Unfortunately I dropped it right after buying it, so it is in my watchmaker to check everything is fine. Here some more pics. About the dome crystal, the previous owner told me he had placed it, so not original I would say (now it has a crack after the hit :-(

Bad luck about the crystal, your watchmaker should be able to replace it though.

Here is the Omega database reference for your watch.

I dont know why i am feeling wrong about this but the dials dont match with the ref no.
And my watch even doesnt match this same ref no.
