    Welcome Chris.

We have a few US and other vets on the forum so you're in good company.

Nice choice of watch, saves the winding chore every morning ;)

    What's a LEO?

    Cheers

    Jim

PS: Set yourself an avatar before the moderators do, they have rather unusual taste in avatar pics

Get pulled over by the cops

    "Evening Ossifer <hic>"

    "Licence and registration please Sir"

"Certainly, here you go. BTW, that's a nice 3510.50 you're sporting there"

"Um, yeah, I just picked it up. Do you know how fast you were going?"

"That's a great choice Sarge, classic Speedmaster with the auto option, take a real watch conysewer to wear one of them!"

"Um, yeah, well, do you know the speed limite here?"

"Er, not sure. Dammit, that Speedy wears right well on your wrist, not many men can take that look off you know."

"Look mate, I'll let you off this time but if I see you again tonight, your arse is mine. OK!"

    So, off into the sunset.

Well it works for gorgeous ladies with fluttery eyelashes and cleavage, why not for fellow WISs

    :D

Thanks gents. The speedy came with a leather strap and the original metal one. Neither fit my wrist. I think my next acquisition will be a vintage seamaster.

Hooah is more of a Navy/Marines thing. In the Army we are more the strong, silent type.
If you need a continent conquered or a war won, call the Army.
However, if you need an island or some boat or something.............
