A Moon watch story - The extraordinary destiny of the Omega Speedmaster See: http://www.watchprint.com/detail_fr.php?catID=11080&papID=watchprint
I have a feeling this might be a good replacement for the 1994 Omega " The Moon Watch " publication, be it smaller in size 22 by 22 centimeters but nicely priced... Would rather have seen a 2019 Moonwatch Only version, subtitled 50 years Apollo 11 with the latest 2019 Speedmaster chronographs in it as both Gold & Steel versions are known by insiders...
Looking forward to the review Just to clarify, is it two books (Moonwatch Universe & A Moonwatch Story) or just one?
Last week I was in London and visited a firm where they had a " Head of Research " ... fine to know such functions exist. This little square sized book celebrates the Speedmaster~Spaceflight link, so as MoonwatchUniverse admin I'm interested to go thoroughly through all the pages and photographs... as details & facts are important!
... Just one little book... MoonwatchUniverse is a website with spaceflight & NASA photos available to the public domain. NASA has been uploading a huge amount of photos online (Flickr NASA) but still there are a lot of photos of which they don't have a copie or the negative got lost. Private collectors worldwide have been contributing scanning old photos they received between 1969 en 1999 from NASA, and handing the digital version back to NASA. The Gemini III photos of John Young at the March 2019 contribution at MoonwatchUniverse are such an example https://moonwatchuniverse.tumblr.com/archive
