Big fan of the Aquascaphe, own the original in blue gilt. While the recent bronze release tempted me, this does not.
I like how clean and simple it is, the silver bezel is lovey compared to all the black ones out there, 39mm, thank god!- not 42mm like so many others- should wear like an older Rolex. For $600 it’s a lot of watch, and if I didn’t feel like messing with vintage divers (you can get a pretty nice vintage piece for $600), then this would be a good call. Looks great on the factory BOR
Agreed. That’s one thing both Certina and Bulova did right on their PH200 and 666 re-issues which was not trying to fauxtina them- but they bloated both which made them miss the mark- although I do own both and they are nice watches for little money, I would think this Baltic would be down-right svelte in comparison to those tubby-suckers.
