Here is my latest purchase. My passion for vintage divers and professional extremes has led me to a model that is not highly sought after and, probably for this reason, quite rare. It is a beautiful watch, heavy, to be worn with conviction and pride. One of the first true 1000-metre watches, a milestone that the famous watchmakers did not reach before Certina.

I would like to point out that the dial and hands are from the first version released. I am certain that this watch was created as you see it.

Thank you for your compliments. From my research, although the hands installed are not the ones we usually see in this reference, they are absolutely original and transitional. They are the very first version installed on the PH1000, which seems to have been a prototype for both the dial and the hands. The design was later finalised with a dial featuring particularly visible, large applied indices and the classic, famous arrow hands, which certainly look more appealing and larger on such a deep dial.

If anyone has any advertisements from magazine pages or catalogues, could you share them in this post? Many thanks.
