Just arrived this morning, my new (to me obviously) Speedsonic.

To say I am delighted would be an understatement, I love the heft and solidity and the oh so pretty dial, particularly the cobalt blue internal tachymetre bezel that matches the subdials. Not on an Omega bracelet, but I will look for one in due course.

    Some pics...

Actually a quick question- how do I tell when this one was built? There's no serial number on the back, assume I'll have to open it up to find that?

    Cheers,

    Alex.

Hold that, I answered my own question- the serial number is a 38,000,000 making it a 1974.

Not in bad condition for a nearly 40 year-old watch!
