Very Nice! I was going to start slow and get a generic 30L, then 34X then maybe a Flagship with these calibers. However, after seeing your post, I might just go for the glory and get an Ultra-Chron as my next Longines :)

One of the best looking dials on an Ultra-Chron for sure, and maybe for the whole late 60's / early 70's era.

I was originally looking for a Conquest...but the Ultra-Chron showed up and I was sucked in by that dial.::psy:: I really like that this has the applied "Longines" on the dial instead of the winged hour glass like the newer ones! And being dated to 1967, is Longines centennial. This is unbelievably accurate too, just a couple of seconds in 24hrs. Not bad for a forty-six year old watch!::love::

Agreed Steve...I enjoy looking at those gold cased, gold dialed, gold, gold watches but the truth is I'd never wear them...they belong on a wrist and there's something special about having a nice vintage watch on your wrist!!!::love::
