Looks fantastic! What's there not to like...and correct spring bars for the end link. As noted, MK 4 is a very desirable dial to have in your collection.

Wear it in good health.
Thanks @ATWG. And thanks everyone for your support. I LOVE THIS FORUM!!

Wow! That may be the cleanest 1675 I've ever seen. I wouldn't sweat the bezel insert issue or the bracelet end link issue Both look superb. I understand that you get a 1675 to have it vintage, and of course you want it completely correct. But you can take your time sourcing the needed parts and enjoy that beauty as it is right now.

Great looking 1675.
Something to consider is a nicely faded fat font insert to soften the look a bit and match the patina on the dial.
Very clean case
Enjoy her

thanks @ras47 - yes, it is very clean, particularly the case. i could stare at the chamfers all day long. well, the dial too. i agree - i will take my sweet old time with the bezel. as far as the bracelet, i have an extra 78360 with the correct end links so i put it on the other day. it was AWESOME!

As gorgeous and enjoyable as it is right now, there is a satisfaction that comes from knowing it's 100% correct for its period and model.

that is a very nice looking dial and strong looking case sir. potentially unpolished? really like the patina and the hands matching the hour markers. congratulations.

inserts are weird. i can't believe the prices for them. i would love to get some others but cannot bring myself to spend crazy money on them, when it could just as well go towards another watch. 😉

I hate making the claim "unpolished" given the loaded term it is these days. But with the edges and nicks and scratches, I think this is as close to unpolished that I will probably ever get to (although I have a 1016 from the 80s that I have a little more confidence about the unpolished/polished questions given what I know about the provenance).

I agree with the whole inserts thing. You know what vintage watches remind me of? Golf. It makes you want to tear out your hair ALL THE TIME. And you are always spending money on it. But it is all consuming and at the end of the day you somehow justify to yourself (probably irrationally) that it is all worth it.

especially if it has a holes case, you should be able to tell when its been polished or if its "unpolished" thats why i often recommend folks looking for certain watches spend the time do the research and learn. once you do your homework you will know what to look for

Received today -
In general I am happy with it - the dial is great, and the lume makes me very happy.
Case is nice - I like the chamfers.
Endlinks are wrong, and bezel font looks like a blue-back, and not a red-back...so disappointed there; will have to spend $$ to get that fixed. I should have asked more questions and seen more pictures.

But all that being said, more importantly: what does OF think??

Looks beautiful

I am so happy for you. The hands are so minty without the usual corrosion for such a age. The waterproof seal must be real tight. Enjoy!

Nice insert on the second pic.
Thanks - just got a NOS red back - looks better than the blue back that was on originally don't it?

Red back is older n only available for 1675. Blue is available later in the life of 16750.
