New Apollo 8 sometimes stops when using Stopwatch function

I have a new (6 months old) DSOM Apollo 8 moonwatch, that when I use the stopwatch function sometimes (1 out of ten times) stops the entire watch. If I reset the stopwatch hand, the watch returns to running order. Is this something I should be worried about, or is this something that can occasionally happen to a mechanical watch?

That can happen if the watch is near the end of its power reserve. However, if it is happening when the watch is fully wound, it's a problem IMO.

Maybe the hands are binding due to lack of clearance between them.
Does it happen in the same place? Or does it happen wherever the minute hand is?
