    Dear respectable Members:

It's been some time since I've called a watch a "grail" but this is about as close as I can get to it at the moment. I never thought I'd enjoy wearing a piece as much as I do this one :)

Still not sure if the BOR will remain permanently as I think it deserves some freshly peeled skin!

    Movement pictures will follow...

    Anyway, some pictures:

    Good buy that one.

Here is a counterpoint with a white textured dial and white gold arrowhead markers in similar condition:

Lovely one Mike, I like the variations on the Constellation Dials. It's hard to capture how sharp this case really is!

Nice dial! I'll agree with you -or just push you into a leather option - personally I'd pass on the BOR and would pursue some nice piece of leather to strap it on! enjoy!

Superb buy. Glad it stayed within the family. And since you already have such a beautiful black and waffle connie, and if you are thinking of moving your stainless one, let me know.;)
    Enjoy your "grail".

Is that a 2782 or a 2852? The crown is original vintage, but the dial has been repainted, unfortunately.

Yours is a beautiful example, certainly worthy of its own (new!) thread.
    Cheers! :)

Does it have a bumper movement? You can feel the impact of the hammer oscillator when moving the watch about. If yes, it's a 2782. No, a 2852.

The dial is a refinish and the case has been polished quite a bit.
