FYI, I paid $1,750 USD for mine, but it is a near mint collector grade example, it came with the original box and papers, and it was fully serviced just before I bought it at a cost of $750 and I have the dated paperwork from the watchmaker. OP, you can certainly find a very nice example for somewhere between what you paid and what I paid.

Hi together,

Thank you for your opinion. I will return it and look for a better one. I've been collecting vintage watches for a few years now (Omega only recently) and I know myself well enough to know that the dent on the dial will bother me. I'm just too impatient sometimes ;-).

If anyone has a nice 168.004 for sale, I would be happy to hear from you!

Thanks, Andreas

Hello all!

I'm bringing this topic up again. I had returned the last 168.004.

Now I have found a new one and already bought it. 😎 Today the watch arrived and was completely dirty and the plexi totally scratched. I cleaned it and polished the plexi, underneath a firmly perfect dial came to light. Otherwise it appears to me unpolished, but has wear marks.

What is your opinion?

It needs a new plexi unfortunately - do you have the part number for me once - that would have to be the 063PZ5008, right?

Best, Andreas
