Hello fellow members,

I wanted a watch that I could wear every day without being afraid to scratch it because I couldn’t forgive myself for buying a watch in perfect condition (like most of yours) and then damaging it.

The case is unpolished but has scars, the crown is not original (as far as I understand it is not difficult to get the original). The bracelet seems to me not to be original (signed Omega 1502) but it fits very well so it doesn’t bother me too much. The dial is original and passes the MOY test but the letter O in the Constellation is slightly erased.

In any case I am very happy with the watch and it is very difficult to photograph it because it looks completely different from every angle. Here are a few pictures that I quickly managed to take during a break in the office.

I hope you enjoy.

Best regards,
Tom.

Very nice, the dial has some interesting patina, a heavy smoker do we think?

That patina looks like a negative image taken from the moon looking towards earth. (if you squint and look real hard) 😁

One of the more interesting patinaed dials that I have seen. Nice score.

If you look at first and last photo, dial looks different. Its some kind of sunburst dial + patina.

Thanks guys, appreciate your feedback! 👍

Nice watch!
I’ve read few comment about patina caused by a smocker owner.
Is that real? Do you thinks a smoker will lead to patina on the watch...?

In the old days when watches were not sealed, yes, tobacco smoke would coat dials and damned near everything else.

Back in the day everything was covered in tobacco smoke because everyone smoked and it was indoors, outdoors, cars, planes, trains, buses... everywhere.

I used to contribute to that, back when Dunhill International was quality instead of the garbage it is today. I guess when the queen quit smoking, Dunhill felt free to make crap.
