Nice yet overpriced.....
Hi there, are you aware that “post farming” is against forum rules? Looks like you’re racing to get 200 to sell a watch in the FS forum.
It doesn’t take that long to make meaningful contributions.
Regards

In my opinion, the only way they go on sale is if Zenith enters bankruptcy proceedings.

I am sure that I saw on EBay a while a selection of ‘Prototype dials’ for sale. However my memory does fail me to which brand. They were in a book form with various colour and shades but none had dial feet, all were marked as prototype or test. They came from a (defunct?) dial manufacturer. So just to say I have seen a unicorn and they do exist.

That happens now and then - of course, much of the time the "prototype" dials are actually similar dials without much value, with the logo added to fake it and increase the amount of the sale - but not directly from manufacturers. If Zenith or whoever discovers old prototype dials, they do not tend to sell them...

I notice you can now purchase this watch directly from Zenith's online retail store in the UK (it was limited to France, Italy and Switzerland previously) - but they only accept bank transfer, not payment by debit or credit card.

A purchase of that size I would be wanting to claim the Amex points 😀 (and the added protection of a credit card purchase would be nice)

More than half a year has passed, but not much info in forums.

Would be interested if anyone owns one or at least had a chance to handle one in person?

I had the chance to handle it with the phillips edition at the same time. I like it but found it very "cold". They should have made it with yellow/orange lume to make it warmer.... to me it would be a "no go". As a vintage lover, i much prefer my original one from 1969 without any doubt. Also,i am not a big fan of that made up story saying they found old dials in the attic....

Thank you!
I agree with you totally! 👍
nowadays everyone puts faux patina lume where its not neccesary.. this watch could actually benefit from it, but they didnt..
Just a little bit, like the brown one. It looks really nice. Can be easily mistaken for vintage 😲

I dont mind the made up story as long as the watch looks good 😀 but in this case the price is a little steep..

The watch is really nice, but somehow i cannot stand the second star on the chrono hand.

Do you know if any of their current line up of bracelets fit this new model?

it does, as lugs size is 19mm. it is their standard lugs size for all of those re-issues

Picked one of these up, and holy smokes, it is a stunning watch.

Planning on making a write-up once I have the time, but I have not been able to stop looking at that case and dial.

Are there any Zenith bracelets that fit this model?
The steel bracelet for the new chronomaster will fit, around 500 euro, this was posted on a local watchforum:

I have also been told the revival ladder bracelet will fit the watch. I would have bought one while at the manufacture, but they were out of stock.
