路Congrats to a very cool watch! 馃憤

The matter is not with the regulator slightly off centre (it might happen for a variety of reasons, such as an accurate posing of the balance at the regulation stage), but with the actual quality of the movement. It would be interesting to see a measurement in the classic six positions in order to understand what Omega is really delivering. 馃槈

I have a feeling the same booklet was included in Presentation Box Moonwatches. Because there's bracelet version and leather version?
Is it possible that AD gave OP a straight forward regular Moonwatch Presentation Box as a bonus? While waiting for the true 321 box to arrive. As I understand watches and boxes are often shipped separately to ADs. You can also see that the Cal 321 booklets are also packaged separately from the big box.
Anyway watch looks fantastic, congrats OP 馃憤
A lot of you have commented on the regulator being slightly off center; to answer: I did a true unboxing, without touching the watch first. Just like vintage 321s, if the watch has gone through some rough handling while not running (i.e. shipment from Switzerland, to NJ, to Seattle), the regulators can get slightly off. Once I wound the watch and reset the chrono functions, it was dead center. I will publish more photos outside in the sun (if we see it anytime soon in Seattle) to give more views.
Sure, it can happen during poising, but why not add a couple of timing washers to bring it back to center? Surely for what they are charging for these, they could spend an extra 5 minutes doing that?
Omega are not really releasing any technical documentation on the "new" 321 movement. No tech guide yet that I see, nothing has changed with the spare parts available shown on the Extranet, and no update in WI28 to indicate that the timing specs are anything different from what they expect out of a vintage movement.
So I would assume that they are sticking with the already published timekeeping parameters, so average daily rate from -1 to +16, Delta of 20 seconds over 3 positions at full wind, and 30 seconds over 3 positions 24 hours after full wind. In other words, nothing very special at all. The promised new supply of spare parts has yet to materialize, and I seriously doubt it ever will, no matter what some executive told people at a launch party...
For the vintage collector hoping this would help, this has been a massive fail.

wut.
I think you're describing the chronograph hand. The silver stick thing is the regulator.
Doesn't look too crazy though. Here's my 9300, also not that centered.

Indeed.
This is the exactly the reason for which I would be curious to examine this movement, the quality of its components, the poising of the balance wheel, the hairspring alloy, the finishing of the pivots and, finally, to assess its regulation. At this price point the movement should be performing well above the old specs (mine does, but it took me considerable dedication and parts over the years). However, even if I have no evidence, I tend to agree with you and I would be surprised to be proven wrong.
OK, measurements at full wind; picture is not super clear, so here they are:
Dial up: +16
Dial down: +13
Crown down: +10
Crown up: +2
Crown right: -2
Crown left: +5
I'll take a second set at 24hrs.
So, overall, I would be happy with these if this was a vintage 321, but a little surprised for a new movement.
I had resigned myself to not seeing any more new watches from Omega this year given world circumstances, but just as I had lost all hope, a box showed up on my doorstep 馃榾
One of the first 100 new movements manufactured, apparently assembled and finished by "Maxime"!
It feels wonderful on the wrist; I love the weight of the platinum. Now I need a new 321 stainless little brother for him...!
