Congratulations on the special watch. Was it sold through the boutique or a dealer? From which country do you come?

Why is the regulator so far off centre on a new watch? That would put me right off.

Glad it wasnt just me that noticed it...

Anyway, lovely watch, congrats 👍

The matter is not with the regulator slightly off centre (it might happen for a variety of reasons, such as an accurate posing of the balance at the regulation stage), but with the actual quality of the movement. It would be interesting to see a measurement in the classic six positions in order to understand what Omega is really delivering. 😉

At least with this one you know that "Maxime" is responsible 😀 :whipped:

Great to see they’re delivering, looks fantastic, enjoy.

Don’t these come with the new crater box?

Unfortunately not. Omega was quick to return to its bad habits : large, useless, environmental-unfriendly boxes. What a pain…

Wow, stunning watch 👍, congrats

Thought Omega might have come up with a modern take on a meteorite box to match the sub-dials, but hey ho

Why is it written "for metal bracelet" on the inner box, since it seems there are only NATOs and leather ones?.... 🤨

I have a feeling the same booklet was included in Presentation Box Moonwatches. Because there's bracelet version and leather version?

Is it possible that AD gave OP a straight forward regular Moonwatch Presentation Box as a bonus? While waiting for the true 321 box to arrive. As I understand watches and boxes are often shipped separately to ADs. You can also see that the Cal 321 booklets are also packaged separately from the big box.

Anyway watch looks fantastic, congrats OP 👍

Sure, it can happen during poising, but why not add a couple of timing washers to bring it back to center? Surely for what they are charging for these, they could spend an extra 5 minutes doing that?

Omega are not really releasing any technical documentation on the "new" 321 movement. No tech guide yet that I see, nothing has changed with the spare parts available shown on the Extranet, and no update in WI28 to indicate that the timing specs are anything different from what they expect out of a vintage movement.

So I would assume that they are sticking with the already published timekeeping parameters, so average daily rate from -1 to +16, Delta of 20 seconds over 3 positions at full wind, and 30 seconds over 3 positions 24 hours after full wind. In other words, nothing very special at all. The promised new supply of spare parts has yet to materialize, and I seriously doubt it ever will, no matter what some executive told people at a launch party...

For the vintage collector hoping this would help, this has been a massive fail.

I had resigned myself to not seeing any more new watches from Omega this year given world circumstances, but just as I had lost all hope, a box showed up on my doorstep 😀

One of the first 100 new movements manufactured, apparently assembled and finished by "Maxime"!

It feels wonderful on the wrist; I love the weight of the platinum. Now I need a new 321 stainless little brother for him...!

Last photo is with a few of his new Speedmaster buddies.

Congratulations, I am sure that the watch will feel at home with all its relatives.
