Finally :

What the hell took so long. Will the bracelet have something similar?
The watch is a knock out for me. I couldn't do the MSRP but it's really nice.

So is that hours on the sundial window and minutes on the hand, then the weird looking trigger thing on the lower left is that a split seconds button?

It looks nice but as a former competitive sailor that’s really not the watch you want for that purpose lol.

Bracelet has the same feature:

I was never a big fan of the Diver 300 Chrono. What I like about this model though is the color scheme and that quick change system for the straps and bracelet. This is really cool and should be implemented across the collection.

Loved everything about this, but then I saw the America's Cup trophy at the end of the seconds hand. Wompwomp 🤦

This watch is so very not for me, though I think the color scheme works well.

What I do really really like is the hours disc in the chrono subdial - I think that's excellent! If that was a feature of the regular 300M chrono, I'd probably be thinking much more seriously about it.

Chrono lock seems kinda not super useful though?

I would love to have the wrists, finances and guts to wear one of these. I think they are very cool albeit in an OTT fashion which has always been alluring to me.

Extremely nice quick-release features and "unique" complication to boot. Certainly not another run-of-the-mill special edition from Omega, well done! I expect the price tag to be... Aspirational.

That's pretty spectacular. When I started racing I used a Seiko Yacht Timer and it was a great tool, though not really the ideal foundation for a good start. This is easily the most interesting SMP chrono I've seen for years. Expecting a price to match.

MSRP on the US site is $10,700, which is a $3300 premium over the 'basic' 300m chrono. How much of that is the complications, new quick release, and/or special edition is certainly up for debate.

As an existing owner of the 300m chrono as well as a PO chrono, the biggest news in this announcement is the quick release feature of the bracelet and strap. Surely this feature will migrate through the rest of the collection and now I’m wishing I had it on my models. I’m sure Omega will have no problem selling them to me if I ask...

Yes both bracelet and rubber have quick release function. I expect this to be incorporated in the updated Planet Ocean line too.

Yes the window is for hours since there is only one hand in the sub dial (minutes).

The "trigger thing" is a lock for the chronograph pushers so you don't accidently loose a measurement.

Another thing to notice is that the chrono pushers are made of some type of rubber as so to help with pushing them in slippery conditions. Time will tell how they will keep up. Hope they are not like the rubber on the bezel of the some of the current Planet Oceans.

The red is throwing me off on this model (especially the red pusher) but I really like the shape of the hands in the registers as opposed to the standard pill shape. I know this one is supposed to resemble a yacht but to my eye it matches nicely with the sword hands. The little hour disc is unique as well, would like to see in person to see how legible it is.
