My '71s lume is of the green-tinted variety. Which obviously sucks compared to yours. You knowingly paid a premium for a mighty nice dial & IMHO you did well. It looks badass with those straps (which I had never heard of so thanks for the heads-up too).
Wear that one with pride.

·I should add that the bracelet was not priority to me since I am going with these xeric leather straps on it. I had picked the straps before purchasing the watch as I wear them on my other speedy. I may someday get a Forstner as I like the flat link but that eBay listing just didn’t do it for me.
Here is the band I will pair with the watch.
