I'm sitting with a tricky one. 18K gold Polerouter Genève, cal 69. Everything seems ok, but that caseback lacks visible serial numbers. Could be because they simply have been polished away (although the rest of the case doesn't look very polished though). There are no serials on the inside of the caseback.

I looked at the photo again, and I'll attach it:

Have you looked between the lugs, Rolex style?

Universals are weird. There seems to be no set pattern to where case reference and serial numbers are located.

My 18K Jet has a very similar caseback and the numbers are so deeply stamped that it would be difficult to polish out.

    Looks correct otherwise.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks! It looks correct, doesn't it? It actually looks very nice. If it becomes mine, obviously I'll post photos :) I'll check with the seller regarding the between the lugs-serial. Serials on the caseback seems to be such a constant with UG that I find it a bit strange.
