Hey everyone - still looking for a omega constellation pie pan for a 60th anniversary and I came across one in the link below. It looks fantastic however I have never seen 'numbers' instead of batons on the dial? Would appreciate some advice! The link is as follows : https://thewatchcollector.co.uk/collections/1250-2000/products/omega-pie-pan-plus-service-receipt Thank you for your time today.
Post pictures and you will get a better response. Arabic dials are not as common as regular dials but they do exist. Some even come with a full set of numbers 1-12. I would steer clear of this one as the case has been heavily polished. Also the hands are wrong and so is the crown. The patina is not very even across the dial. Price is high. It would be a miss from me.
The hands (well, at least the minute hand...) looks good to me, the hour hand may just be heavily aged. I am not a fan of the aging of the dial, but others may feel differently. The level of polish as @Noddyman points out, really makes this one a clear miss. If it was unserviced, I would say that a realistic sales price would be around half of what they are asking, not sure how much value a STS service adds.
