There are no 145.022's with a serial number starting with 49.
Are you sure you read the lug number correctly?

caseback could have 145.0022 on it.

The lug number not matching the movement number is a bit worrisome.

If the lug number starts with 49 then its fake regardless of what caseback it has.

    Bezel is 1969- mid 80's

    Dial is mid 80's-98

Case back is through mid 80's

Hand lume appears to match dialand are correct

Serial number on case appears to match movement.

Serial seems to late for what appears to be a mid 80's watch but I'm not sure.

I'm weak on these serials but it points to me a later mid case and movement with dial, hands, bezel, and caseback from an mid 80's watch.

I'm not sure the crossover with short "r" dials with DNN no tilde bezels. But I'm pretty positive it was the mid 80's

I don't know can you buy it... the question is should you?

Comes down to price unless someone gives the blessing in the serial number. I see 2 different watches put together which negatively affects value.

    What's the price on it?

I think this watch is another early 90s 3590.50 - non-serif DNN, short and closed S dial, 145.022 caseback marking. Slightly curious aging of the lume, possibly accelerated or just lived that kind of life.... Probably OK just depends on the price.

I don't like the serial number engraving on the case....font looks too big.

You don't think the serial makes it later then that caseback and bezel?

If it runs even if mis matched not a bad deal.

I agree with abrod520 after looking closely at Moonwatch Only book. Maybe early to mid 90s? I also think serial #'s match on movement & case (looks like there may be a scratch or piece of plastic over 8, making it look like a 9).

New MWO book, pg 319, shows a tritium dial aged same color (a little later 3970.50, but still within timeframe.)

So you're looking at one of the last references with tritium dial and I believe everything is 100% correct. I like way tritium has aged! Many tritium dials from early 70s on stayed a greenish color most collectors don't like as much. If watch is running, keeping time, and chronograph functions work properly, this is considered a good entry for new collector.

If OP likes the look and can get it under $2,000USD, it's a good start! Of course you have to factor in a service. Depending on where you live figure $350-600. (I currently have two being serviced by an AWCI 21st Century certified watchmaker with an Omega parts account service w/o parts $400.)

DO NOT send to Omega for service!!!!! Just have movement serviced and replace pushers/crown if you are concerned about water/moisture getting in. I live in area humidity is not big concern and I never get my watches in/near water, so I don't change pushers/crown unless cosmetically bothers me.

If I missed anything others please chime in!

Best wishes and I hope forum members helped you have confidence to take the "plunge" if ready!

Certainly could be, serials that late are outside my area of knowledge. OP could always ring Archer up who could look it up on the Extranet maybe
