Redial and polished and seller is from South Korea on eBay.

Seller has great reviews but when I read the description under Country of Manufactured it says “Swaziland” instead of Switzerland. I checked all the Omega listing on the page and all was under Swaziland. I’m not sure if it’s just a mistake.

But would greatly appreciate if anyone can confirm its authenticity!

    Many thanks

Thank you for the reply, so this watch is authentic?

The Swaziland is kind of throwing me off.

I hardly take any notice of descriptive text, mostly it's bullshit, I just look at the watch.

You’re right, might be lister error.

What year would you say this watch is? It’s a 70s style I believe.

    Yes, about late September, 1978.

Is that date based on what ILMS returns or on extracts of other pieces from the era? I ask as there are times where ILMS dates are only a rough guide for non-Speedmaster production. It’s certainly late 1970s but I would hesitate to be that precise personally.

Or were you yanking his chain :)

    Who? Moi?

    ;)

To @Iranotion, it's just what we do here. Even with newcomers.

    Cheers

    Haha, no worries Jim

As long as you weren’t yanking my chain that this watch is not a fugazi! .....now you got me thinking...

As long as you know it's genuine, is a redial, and has seen the polishing wheel (not too badly though) and you're happy with that it's all OK.

It would not suit a serious collector, but for a nice daily wearer it's fine as long as you know what it is (and what it isn't).

Yes sir! Thank you. I was wondering if you know anything about vintage Tissot. Got this watch a while back and I have not found any information about it.

Tissot, Cuervo y Sobrinos and Bentley on the same dial, plus not very harmoniously arranged... highly suspicious. I'd want to see it inside.

    Horrible fantasy redial at best.
