Hi

As 42mm is too big for my wrist I’m looking for a Speedmaster pre Moon with 40mm.
Saw the following watch online. What do you think? Does everything look legit?
And what would be a ‘fair value’ in your opinion to such a watch as I don’t want to overpay.

Thk a lot for all the help 😉.

This case is also 42mm. You have to look for “straight lug” Speedy if you want something slimmer on your wrist

I see. But except of that; the rest would fit for the reference number?

Ok great. What would the value be approximately for that watch & condition?

I don't understand. Are you looking to buy the smaller straight lug case or look for a valuation on a watch that you said doesn't fit you?

In either case, speedmaster101.com is the go to reference point as well as numerous eBay, forum sales postings.

I would say it’s in a “good” condition - maybe a little below because of the not perfect lumen on the markers. A guess on the price would be Approx. USD 7.000

Soft lugs, ugly lume on seconds hand, missing lume at marker ends and scratched-up bezel keep it from being too close to 'good' condition for me.

Is it?
I thought this big logo only correct for later 69 and later ref, 145.012 should have thin logo ?

Yup crown is wrong. Should be old logo, flat feet crown.

Normally 145.012 have a 24 teeth flat foot crown but according to Moonwatch Only a few have wide logo 32 teeth. The crown of the watch above has 24 teeth and is not correct for this reference

I'll go and stand in the corner with a pointy hat on.

Except the crown (which is common to be replaced due to wear and tear), others seems good. On thing to note is the Bezel look worn. Might want to look out for other options unless the price is very attractive

Mediocre condition all around (lume loss on dial, damaged bezel, soft lugs), nowhere near "good".
