Hello OF,

I am still looking for a 2852 pie pan constellation with arrowhead index.
I saw this one on Chrono24 a 2852 gold capped, crown and glass are original and signed, the case looks a little nasty with many scratches. I have a doubt about the dial, there is a patina than looks pretty even, but when we looks closer, there is some granular aspect, is it a mark of a repainted dial ?
On the backcase we can see the 8 stars above the observatory. The case looks like never be polished.
The watch looks a little over priced to me, my question is : what is a reasonnably price for this kind of reference ? Do you notice something wrong with this one ?
I am still new on the vintage hunting. May be I missed something.
I think a 1500-2200 range be more fair.
Thanks for your precious advices community.

Also the bridge and rotor seem to be replacements from a different movement

And the lugs arent completely covered in gold anymore... This is by no means a 1500€ or even USD-watch in my book. Be patient, check the classifieds here and eBay regularly and you'll find a nicer example.

They aren't supposed to be completely covered in gold.

I should have specified, I guess. I‘m aware of that, but looking at this:

This looked to me like there’s gold missing at the side of the lugs. Could also be gold discoloration, though, now that I zoomed in on it even further.

In my opinion the case is in quite good condition (I see some pitting underneath though) and well preserved in shape. The dial have some flaws but not major ones. I think the scratched crystal makes the dial appear more worse than it is. Better pics needed. Some lacquer with tiny cracks. A watch with some flaws and definitely overpriced. At the "right" price it´s not a bad deal. 6-800 Euro maybe if better pics can be provided.
