I think the forstner band looks quite ugly on a Speedmaster but plenty of people seem to like the look.

I have high expectations of Uncle Seiko's flat link, I have a few of his Z199 Seiko style bracelets and they are really nice quality, I think the flat link is going to be very popular 👍

I like it. Hope you have endlinks for seamasters as well. Double your customer base.

Nice! Does it have any taper?
I got the same question. Doesn't look like it tapers in the pics.

i'll tell ya what. i'm liking everything I see. even though the flat link is more in line with an original speedmaster design I can't get over how freakin cool they look on beads of rice. to me the holzer resembles a modern style tudor bracelet but still looks good on an omega. i'm gonna have to buy both the beads of rice and flat link from you and best of luck in your enterprise! I wish I knew about you when I was hand filing Seiko jubilee head links to fit my 6309's a few years ago 😁

I believe the Holzer tapers to 16mm. (I'm not the manufacturer, in case that wasn't clear. Just linking to his IG page).

100% agree. I really am excited to see the flatlink, but as I've followed this thread and some of the references, I also keep coming back to how awesome that BOR looks.

Do we have and ETA on a finished Holzer? I actually have a Helbros with 19mm lugs that would look fabulous with that bracelet. I will reserve the Speedy for your flatlink.

I know this is probably impossible, but I don't think I'd install a bracelet with hollow end links. My issue is the little tabs scratching up the bottom of the case (and right about where the serial number is). I like the BOR and the flatlinks, but I'd just imagine there would be a lot of scratching as a result.

Also, won't the Holzer cause a lot of hair pinching? I've had bracelets like that which were constantly pulling hairs. But maybe it was the spacing that caused the problem?

If they are fitted properly (tweaking on then off and refit etc) they should fit pretty perfectly with little movement.

When you speak of tweaking and refitting does that mean bending the endlinks? They appear relatively sturdy — do you use a small mallet to bend them?

If they're the same thickness steel as the BOR bracelet, it's a LARGE mallet!

The only watch I have with hollow end-links is an old Seiko that rattles like crazy. Actually, all the links are stamped/bent not solid. Anyway, maybe that's why I'm thinking it would cause a lot of case scratching.
