Uncle seiko was nice enough to respond to a pm I sent him. I have my seiko alpinist on a cheaper black strap right now. I wasn’t hip on the stock strap. I asked him what he recommends for the alpanist. His response was the beads of rice. Of course after i ask him I checked out the site and saw it is advertised as a good match I just wasn’t familiar with the uncle seiko brand until it was brought up here. Definitely looks good. I have to post the link as I don’t have it yet but I like his business model. It seems he wants to maintain quality and keep things in a price range that make it accessible to most. I also appreciated the reply to my rather dumb question as a few seconds on his website would have answered my question. So I didn’t even get the product yet but I can already speak highly of the company.

Agreed, I have a few of his rubber straps and the 1171 & flat link Speedy bracelets, all of them really good quality and every interaction has been great.

I got the President version of the SARB017 to put on a Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph 38mm (that's its actual name!) on Larry's recommendation and with small adjustments to the end links, it's really nice!

I've made a couple tweaks since I took this pic and it fits even better. If I never find the discontinued Hamilton bracelet, this will do nicely.

After wearing the CKPulse on the US BOR for some days I pulled out today my Apollo XV 45th Speedy with the stock bracelet....

Wore it for the morning, and the weight balance is all wrong ! The end link design makes the L2L unnecessarily long... I'm doomed now ! I had no choice: HAD to order a Holzer for the Speedy Pro (and a set of 19mm end links just in case...)

Side by side of the stock trilogy flat link with the US version. Lovely bracelet that feels so much better on the wrist than the Omega offering.

Some very quick shots of my freshly arrived flat links (8 days shipping only to France) with my Holzer too,
The 60th anniversary should have been sold with that bracelet IMO.

Thank you @Uncle Seiko
Sorry for the low quality pictures it's from my phone, my DSLR is stuck abroad 😡

The 60th looks amazing with the flat link. Can't wait to get mine onto my FOIS!

@Uncle Seiko

Why is the flat link bracelet not available in Europe? Any plans for the foreseeable future?

I sell from my US store but I ship worldwide. Any non-Seiko stuff stays in the US. Thanks

Had a weird problem with the original bracelet on the new Baltic Aquascaphe I bought, happy to see the flat link fits it great! Installation was a little tough but once it got in there the end link is a great match. Thanks Uncle Seiko.

This is very intriguing!
I ordered a 20 mm brushed/polished flat link bracelet for my 145.022 69 Speedmaster that came with a black leather strap originally.

Looking forward to see what the bracelet looks and feels like.
Thanks for making these!

Regarding the flat link in 20mm, anyone else having a little gapping where the corners of the end-links meet the case?

I'm having a little bit because these links aren't as curved as much as, for example, an 840 solid end link.

But I have a (WatcCo) Seamaster 300 and it might not be an issue on the Speedmaster?

Thanks

The polished/brush holzer is a perfect fit for the ck2998, transforms the watch in my opinion into a perfect piece. Nice work again Uncle!

Did you have to file down the endlinks ? I have a speedy and an aquascaphe, my Baltic BoR doesn't really fit on the speedy, and the speedy bracelet doesn't fit at all on the aquascaphe.

I didn't have to make any modifications beyond bending the tabs on the underside of the bracelet to be much more open. It was a really tight fit and I think I would have a heck of a time getting it back off, but I'm happy with it as it is.
My baltic BoR bracelet won't fit my aquascaphe, which is the real mystery

That is a great combo, right there! Better than with the basic Speedy Pro, I think.

Yes it’s interesting the different brushed or polished parts play a huge part of how each combo looks overall. For the twisted lugs, I think I personally prefer the all brushed to create a more tool watch vibe with the holzer. Whereas on the blue CK, the polished elements are more harmonious with the dressier vibe of the watch and the polished hands.

Yeah I had the same issue with the SM300 but I dodnt try it on the speedy. Since it was made for the speedmaster I cant complain. I solved the issue by using my solid 50th endlinks.
