Is that the BOR bracelet with a new clasp? How did you get it? I'd love to as I only have the Seiko-style clasp.
PM Uncle Seiko, that’s what I did. This is the 19mm BOR. Clasp looks like this.

I'll have the 19mm Beads of Rice available in about two weeks.

Will it be possible for me to buy a replacement clasp for my 20mm BoR? Or will the taper be different? I would love to have a simpler clasp on my current BoR. Thanks!

They aren't compatible, different taper.

I’ve been away for some time and it would appear that you have made a 1171 bracelet. I have contacted you by email.

Cheers,

Ian

Larry (Uncle Seiko) was kind enough to contact me and I’ve ordered one. I’m so pleased and will upload photos once it arrives.

Thanks Larry!

Cheers,

Love the look of mine! Just put on the watch but need to remove some links. Anything unique to be aware of?

Nice one @Uncle Seiko

Looking awesome! BTW link removal on the Holzer was very simple. Just work out which side to push the pin from and you’re set.

Any thoughts of making a 21mm BoR bracelet? Interested for a Planet Ocean although it appears there are 21mm Speedys. Assume right size will fit both?

At the risk of asking a stupid question, will the 19mm flatlink or any of the current Uncle Seiko 19mm offerings work with a 105.003 Ed White?

I’d like to try the 1171 but no international shipping is a bit of a bummer 🙁

Just got the brushed/polished Holzer- had been holding out for it. Need a bit of wear on it to make it blend with my well abused Speedy but that should happen in short order

I was worried it would be a hair puller like my 1171 at first but wore it all night and it felt fine. Getting the link removal/clasp adjustment sorted is always fun but a one time shot so no fussier then any other bracelet. (Note- you need one of the pin removal crank tools- do not try to get these link pins out with a spring bar tool!)
The 2/4 polish on these bracelets is much more in line with the original Holzer and I think the combo with the polished/brushed finishes of the watch is stunning. The all brushed bracelet on a Speedy doesn’t do the case finishes justice IMO- it’s all about the contrast of brushed & polished as your eye follows the twists of the lugs- which the low flat endlinks really highlight.
As for the bracelet itself- it’s a little more solid feeling than a factory folded link, a bit smoother in feel and a little heavier- technologies and materials are better now than they were 50 years ago. But it still has the jingle which is one of the hallmarks of a real bracelet- not an arm cuff.
