    HI ! My father passed away and i received this old omega Watch ( i always seen that Watch when i was Young) i think its an omega century from 50 s era but not sure. i would like to restore this Watch ( still running). Anybody know the value of this Watch? thanks in advance

    You are off to a good start by identifying it as '50's.

    I bet it doesn't need restoring, just a good service. Follow efausers' advice above and take your time.

    With care, you'll be able to pass it on to your heirs one day.

    Thanks a lot folks !! will try the link !! i was surprised too when i look at the back of this Watch, i mean no serial number ! no writing of any kind neither !!! Strange...

    no, didnt take any chance to remove the back....but normaly on high quality Watch you must see a serial number and some writing like made in swiss, xx jewels, bla bla bla..... but Nothing on that one !

    Not sure to understand. If you have not removed the back, how do you know there is nothing written on the back or the movement?

    On Omega watches, most anyway, the serial number and other references are visible once the back of the watch is opened.
