New here. My first post. I came across below omega and thinking of buying it.

Question is : does that bezel look discolored? I am thinking it should be little dark blue but I may be wrong as don't have any experience with omega

Yes it does look discolored. It is faded from the UV rays is all. Looks to be a 10 year old watch according to the ad. The bezel can be replaced with a new one if you want.

$2000- seems steep for quartz.

 

Agree. My thinking is that buying from known source would make sure that it is authentic. I am new to expensive brand watches and not aware of other sources where I can look for and not get robbed

 

Don't discount the "private watch sales" or the "for sale" fora that are on this site. These are honorable gentleman posting here and prices are fair! The other thing, and this is my opinion, so take it for what it's worth, for that kind of money, I would definitely spend it on a mechanical watch!
