Need help with this vintage Omega

Hello fellow memebers,

Found this vintage Omega at local pawn shop. As far as I can tell, dial looks original with light patina. Case is gold plated with horn lugs and on some places it fell of, but I can live with that. Crown is not original and unsigned. No photo of movement because they dont know how to open it but they say it was checked with local watchmaker who I know personally.

Can you help me with ref number and point me if something is wrong?

sure does look nice. What's the diameter?
14363 / cal 501 comes to mind but that's supposed to be a seamaster model and SC
pics from pinterest and an ebay listing (the steel one)
Any chance to ask the watchmaker in question?

Since it is gold plated (or possibly gold filled), my guess is that this is a US national production model with a US case and Swiss Omega movement.

Doubtful that this model will appear in the Omega Vintage Database on their website.

Some of these may have a hallmark between the lugs, but most don’t. Only way to know if this is factory licensed case would be to open it up.

Its 35mm. I'm familiar with Seamaster but this one has different shape of lugs. Never seen it before. There is some kind of hallmark between but couldnt recognize it.

Tried to call him and sent him a message. No response yet.

Update: WM said he inspected this watch few months ago but doesn't remember what ref or caliber it was. I'm gonna pick it up today and post more pictures here. 😀

@gatorcpa this is between lugs. On the left is tiny 80 and on the right looks like PB. Is this helpful?

That probably means 80micron gold plated and “PB” is the case maker.

This could be a Swiss cased watch with a regular Omega case reference. Only way to know more is to open it up.
