    Hi

I was offered a vintage seamaster 300, I think its a one of later generation of CK2913. I like the piece but i can seems to find how to verify the watch, firstly i cant find anything on steel second hand, and the case back looks abit off, is it genuine? Please help if u can.

Ps. I didnt get the chance to open the case back.

    Thanks

To my untrained eye few things dont look right. Take what i say with massive grain of salt:

Writing on the dial looks too thin. Comparing with some other ones, it looks like it should be thicker
Markers on the dial should be longer
Font on the bezel looks wrong too
Caseback looks fake. Font is off. Compare to this one:

Again, I could be completely wrong, so lets wait for experts to chime in.

I know next to nothing about 2913's but those hands look wrong to me and the font is wrong on the bezel numbers.

fake...run...total POS. The pointed "A" on the caseback is a dead giveaway...should be a flat top...plus the hands are wrong, the fonts are wrong, the case is wrong...

Looks like a turd on the wrist...run Forrest run!
