Need help replacing a surface mounted chip on a logic board

hi everyone

I have a DAC that needs a 6 pin chip replaced and resoldered. But the chip is surface mounted and I need the help of someone who can do fine surface mounted soldering ... mind you only 6 pins....

And if your local to Brooklyn... wouldbe a big plus..

I'd suggest seeing if https://rossmanngroup.com/ will do it, they definitely have the tools and skills. If that doesn't work, maybe ask at https://www.nycresistor.com/. If all else fails, I can probably dig up a friend who could do it. I'd offer but I don't have a hot air station set up at home.

These days just about anybody who can do PCB rework can handle SMT. Try a local mobile phone repair shop.
