Need help on YEAR or ERA of Vintage Chronometre Tissot Automatic

I recently recovered this vintage Tissot wristwatch that was given to me from my great grandfather.
I've been doing a lot of research to try and find out more information about it,but I can't find a serial number.
It looks similar to a 1930s version but the dials are different.

If anyone can look at the photos I've provided I would appreciate any input.Thank you!

Looks to me like it's early fifties and not a common watch.

You'd probably need to remove and photograph the movement and case back to gain further information. A visit to Tissot forum or vintage forum on Watchuseek may bear fruit. I cn't think of anyone on this forum who is a Tissot expert.

Cheers

Desmond

Here is mine from 1972

Which is a very different style/font, so agree it is probably 1950s. Internal photos would help.

Thank you so much mondodec and CanberraOmega for your guy's input.
Now I have an idea of which era to look at and how to identify.

I am no expert on Tissots but I do know that is a seriously good looking watch and "chronometre" makes it extra interesting and if all original extra valuable.

lovely watch -and I agree that it's not very common -there aren't too many Tissot chronometres about.
I too have an early 70's seastar that I inherited -very similar to Canberra's.
I posted it on WUS and it led to me to research the connection with Omega -it has the 2481 sister movement to the Omega 1481.
There are some knowledgable guys on there that might help.
I began looking for a Tissot Chronomter just like yours which led me to the Omega Constellation I now have.
here is some info I found whilst researching the Tissot Chronometre that might help

Definitely a very uncommon model. A movement shot would confirm authenticity (or not).
